-Adam Wainwright made his second start for the Cardinals this spring, and pitched four more scoreless innings, allowing no hits, walking two, and striking out one

-Jeff Suppan made his Brewers debut, allowing one run in three innings

-Mark Prior made his spring debut for the Cubs, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks in 1.1 innings
-Kerry Wood also made his spring debut, and pitched one scoreless inning, striking out one

Athletics 8 Angels 7
-Ervin Santana made his spring debut, pitching three scoreless innings
Padres 4 Royals 9
-LF Terrmel Sledge hit his 2nd homer of the spring for the Padres. He is expected to platoon with Jose Cruz Jr., but if he keeps playing like he is now he may win the full time starting job.
Giants 0 Diamond Backs 9
-Enrique Gonzalez made his spring debut for the D-Backs, pitching three scoreless innings. He was followed up by new Diamond Back Dana Eveland, who also pitched three scoreless innings.

Other notes
-Marlins SP Josh Johnson is expected to be out two months with nerve problems in his arm.
-Red Sox SP Daisuke Matsuzaka faces a major league team for the first time today against the Marlins.
