Spring Training- Day 2
Orioles 6 Marlins 8Red Sox 1 Jays 4
-Red Sox 3B Chad Spann made 2 more errors, giving him a total of 4 in just 2 games
Reds 9 Pirates 7
-Reds took the lead in the 5th with 2 run homers by 2B Brandon Phillips and 1B Mark Bellhorn against Pirates RP Salomon Torres
-Pirates CF Luis Matos hit 2 solo homers in his two at-bats
Astros 2 Indians 13
-Astros first four pitchers combined to allow 12 earned runs on 14 hits and 5 walks in 5.2 innings
-Indians catchers combined for a great day: Victor Martinez went 3-for-3 with 3 runs, 3 RBI, and a three-run homer. He was later replaced by Mike Rose, who was 2-for-2 with 2 runs, 2 RBI, and 2 doubles.
-Indians pitcher Cliff Lee will miss his next start on Friday because of an abdominal strain during practice last week.

-Braves starter Kyle Davies got a good start to spring training, where he will be trying to earn a spot in the rotation, by pitching 2 perfect innings

-Tom Glavine pitched two hitless innings in his start for the Mets
Twins 1 Yankees 6
-Yankees CF Johnny Damon hit a home run to lead off the game for New York
-SP Chien Ming Wang pitched two perfect innings for the Yankees
D-Backs 8 White Sox 5
-White Sox RP Bobby Jenks, who left after just three batters with a sore shoulder Wednesday, says he should be pitching again by the weekend
White Sox 3 Rockies 4
Royals 6 Angels 7
-Angels won in the bottom of the 9th when SS Hainley Statia hit a sac fly to drive in the winning run against the Royals Wayne Franklin
Athletics 8 Brewers 14
-Brewers 3B Ryan Braun dominated Athletics pitching, going 4-for-5 with a double, a three-run homer, and a grand slam. Braun drove in 7 runs
Giants 9 Cubs 2
-Only 2 of the 9 runs the Cubs allowed were earned, because of an error by SS Ronny Cedeno and 2 by 3B Scott Moore
-Barry Zito pitched two scoreless innings, allowing only one hit, in his Giants debut
